ROLES + RESPONSIBILITES

The Film Lex logo was designed to strike a balance between clever restraint and cinematic sophistication. At first glance, it reads as a camera—an immediate nod to the craft—but on closer inspection, it subtly reveals the word “LEX” embedded within the form. This duality gives the mark a smart, insider feel that resonates with filmmakers.
The use of the Honeychrome typeface reinforces the technical precision of the industry, with its structured, almost mechanical character lending credibility and edge. Paired with a matte color palette, the logo takes on a refined, elevated tone—less flashy, more intentional—mirroring the ethos of serious filmmakers. The result is a mark that feels both posh and hardworking: a quiet flex that communicates craft, discipline, and a deep respect for the process.
I’ll never forget the glow of the TV at the start of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles—how I could recognize it instantly, just from the production logo flickering to life. That’s the feeling I set out to capture with this brand: the quiet anticipation before a story begins, when you know something good is coming. If FilmLex had a hand in it… consider that your cue to get excited.
